Growing Older in theDigital Work

1-Have you celebrated your birthday in facebook while you forgot to do to it in the real life?
2-Some women on facebook celebrate their birthdays without indicating the year the were born in.Do you think think this is good or bad? Why?

3-Do you think that people on the internet are more flattering than they are in the real life? What is the relation between this characteristic and egotism?

  1. 1- I don't celebrate in facebook. Actually, I always wait my husband or friends to surprise me.

2- I cannot say it is good or bad because It is up to the person. For me I don't have any problem to mention the year.

  2. 1- Never, because I do not have Facebook account and I do not like it.

2- I think Facebook provide their user with the setting of choosing not to appear your year of birthday. However, for Women that's really common, because they want to stay younger and hide their real age ( forgive me girls) that's true.

3- I think people nowadays, shift their personalities frequently. For instance, Facebook people tend to be more socialize and very active to respond ''Like'' or post comment. However, in real life I think they are different to socialize with others. This appeared because of technology influence to all young generation.
